Polynorbornene‐ g ‐poly(ethylene oxide) Through the Combination of ROMP and Nitroxide Radical Coupling Reactions
Résumé
The synthesis of polynorbornene-g-poly(ethylene oxide)s bottlebrush copolymers is reported from a grafting-onto and a grafting-through strategy by a combination of ring-opening metathesis polymerization and click nitroxide radical coupling (ATNRC) reaction. The copolymers have been characterized by NMR, SEC, MALDI-ToF mass spectrometry, and thermal analysis (DSC and TGA). A preliminary study of self-assembling properties in aqueous solution is reported.
